Wildlife in this area

Newgale is a very long sandy beach with very few features other than open stretches of sand, which is why it is very popular with kite surfers, surfers, wind surfers and bathers.  Wildlife on the beach itself is therefore fairly limited, but in the surrounding area there is plenty of interest.
